aMazeIn 5K

I've always like mazes, and particularly making mazes for people and kids' activities. So I've always wanted to write a program that does it automatically. The best type of maze is a complete maze, because you can choose any two points on the perimeter and there must be a way through. That's what this program makes. I hope you can use it to make activities for kids church and things like that. Check it out here.

This was originally an idea for the 5k.org competition, but after the competition closed down, there wasn't really the impetus to write it up. But since then (yes 6 years ago!) I started to get a clearer picture in my head of how it would work. Its not really under 5k as the title suggests, but I'm pretty confident it could easily be taken down to that size.

You can set the size of the maze, and the size of the individual maze units. I haven't included any ability to change the frequency of the path divisions, but it can be done.

Becoming more than Sin 'Neutral' and reducing your Sin 'footprint'

So there's all this talk and ho-ha about companies and homes becoming 'Carbon Netural' and reducing their 'Carbon Footprint'. In fact, a friend was telling me yesterday about these new companies that are selling their carbon credits. They're sole purpose is to do things like plant trees and replace those old lights with the new efficient lights so that they are at a carbon negative state. They then sell 'Carbon Reduction Credits' or something like that to the big companies who have a massive Carbon outputs.
The result is that big business can simply buy their way out of their polloution guilt.
I was thinking how similar it is to our guilt. We have a massive Sin problem, such that our 'sin footprint' is to big for us to fix. But through faith in Christ, God credits us with righteousness.
But its different in 2 very cool ways.
1. We don't have to buy our righteousness credits, and they don't just get transferred to us. Jesus becomes our new CEO and brings them with him, such that our guilt is his and his credits are ours. Its not a transfer, its a union.
2. Because its a union of Jesus as our new CEO, we don't just get made the equivilant of 'Carbon Neutral' - we not made 'Sin Neutral'. Rather, Jesus takes us to the heights of his glory. We are not neutral before our God, we have been made fully righteous.
